BUENOS AIRES - 05 July
All good things must come to an end.
I'm headed back to London today. Concluding 9 months of continuous travel. To be honest, London has been on my mind for the past few weeks, as my anemic travelogue entries might have suggested. I'll be happy to settle back into the life I used to have -- surprisingly London seems more like "home" than anywhere else right now.
So, I hope you've enjoyed reading about my travels.

BUENOS AIRES - 03 July
It has been pouring rain since I arrived, which means my adventures around town have been limited, and I've been spending most of my time in the hotel room watching CNN. In other words, I know more about the WorldCom scandal than I care to, and I know very little about Argentina. CNN weather was kind enough to tell me that the rain in South America is concentrated mainly around northern Argentina. Just my luck.
Nonetheless, I've decided to suck it up today and spend a day out in the wetness.

I don't know much about economics, but I'd like to see countries listed on a scale based on the following indicators:
1) Average hourly rate of internet access
2) Internet access points per capital
3) A rating of the difficulty in finding a good cup of coffee

Now *that* would be helpful.

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - 02 July
What I had euphemistically referred to as 'mist' in Santiago, was actually just your LA-variety smog. As I climbed up into the hills of the central park towards the Big Mary statue (Big Jesus' mom), I was able to see the thick smoky layer that filled the valley. The smog created a strange visual effect, making the hills seem much further away than they actually were.
